He watches the blood pool and somehow goes back to Naruto, the area where he tapped him thrums. Sasuke hisses when a sharp pain invades his hand, dropping the weapon that he had been holding too tightly which sent its metal point through his palm. No–Sasuke had to be better than someone like Naruto, better than anyone who crosses his path, better than his brother. Since when was Naruto able to land a hit on him? Had Sasuke allowed his mind to wander so much as to create an opening in his form? His suspicions were true, Naruto had been rubbing off on him in some way, creating weaknesses within him. Every kunai he threw into the bark of the tree took a small part of Sasuke’s anger with it. Naruto stands proudly and offers his right hand, Sasuke glares at the arm. “Enough, Naruto make the unison sign and go take your spots.” Naruto groans seeming angrier with himself than Sasuke, “I still got you!” No interest in continuing any longer Sasuke ends it with a few well-placed hits and a sweep of Naruto’s legs. “The spar isn’t finished until someone hits the ground, continue,” Iruka interjects. “Ha! I got you! You’re not as good after all huh, Sasuke!” Ever the sore winner Naruto shoves a finger out towards Sasuke, the same right hand that had touched him. A smile quickly overtook Naruto’s surprise as anger overtakes his own. They both wore faces of varying levels of surprise. It’s light but it happens, the spar comes to a standstill, how? How did Naruto manage to get so close as to land a hit on him, worse Naruto had the nerve to meet his eye. Fighting Naruto was always like this so Sasuke was sure he could fight him with his eyes closed, he didn’t even need to toss any hits back at him Sasuke could just-the tap on his chest drags him from his thoughts. Naruto’s attacks are wide and uncoordinated, Sasuke avoids and blocks them easily. Iruka bangs him over the head with his clipboard, “What’d you do that for Sensei? I wasn’t going to say it!” Naruto rubs at the offending spot on his head. “Get ready, Sasuke I’m gonna kick your as-.” “Next up is Sasuke and Naruto.” Sasuke would have preferred a challenging opponent but he enjoyed knocking the blonde on his ass when it came time for sparring. He doesn’t acknowledge the ire radiating from Naruto upon seeing how the shuriken lodged deep in the bullseye of each target. Sasuke doesn’t waste time throwing them one by one as Naruto did but instead lets all the shuriken fly out of his left hand at once. Naruto bristles, “What did you say?” Sasuke grabs the idiot by the collar of his shirt the same way Naruto does to him, Iruka’s hands part them “Naruto get back in line! Sasuke you’re up next.” Sasuke picks up a stray shuriken that bounded near his foot and sends it arcing past Naruto into the dummy's head with satisfying ‘Tak.’ “Hmph, I can’t throw off what’s not there”, cool-toned as ever. Finger in his face Naruto shouts “Stop standing behind me you asshole, it’s throwing my aim off!” Naruto had not only missed every single target but missed the training dummy altogether, the class laughs. It’s a pathetic attempt, Sasuke notes as he’s done before that Naruto’s form is horrible. He calls Naruto first, and to Sasuke’s left an Inuzuka whispers “This should be good.” He eyes the right hand that takes the 5 shuriken provided to him. About 10 feet away from the designated starting area was a hand-carved wooden dummy, its vital spots circled with red targets. Iruka lined the entire class up outside with the explanation that they would be practicing with kunai and shuriken today.
There is this one scene, no a few ones, which are just out of words.Not that Sasuke paid attention or anything like that It was just something he picked up on from being around the idiot for so long, it was the making of a good shinobi to notice small details. And now Itachi pokes him on the forhead and sees him leaving. When he hears all of Itachi's advice to Naruto, he realizes the importance of friends! He realizes that he has to get over his ideas and accept Naruto's. He sees the stRuggles and hardships Naruto had to go through and while he is on that, he sees Itachi telling Naruto: How he says I never go back on my word, that's my ninja way. So he sees him being good to everybody, being nice all the time, having a smile on his face, reminding everybody how he is gonna become Hokage.And SURPASS every Hokage. Sasuke sees all the good times and the bad times in the entire anime that have taken place, his encouraged moments, the times where he was happy, Sad, bad, alone, lonely, weeping, tearing up, and angry! (Damn you sasuke, look at us, took us 16 years, almost).

All those flashbacks of the times Sasuke was and was not with him.
